In 2019, he<span>\u00a0<\/span>earned his doctoral degree in Comparative Literature at the University of California Santa Barbara examining\u00a0literary and visual representations\u00a0of immigrants\u2019 descendants in France and the United States, and in particular how such productions\u00a0interact\u00a0with and transform literary genres. His current research focuses on figures of\u00a0ethnic minority detectives in contemporary European crime\u00a0fiction.
