Prof. Kim Toft Hansen has been working with Nordic and international crime fiction (literature, film and television) for over a decade. Besides an overall interest in textual analyses of crime fiction, Hansen has been deeply engaged in collaboration with local, national and international media industries. His research profile fittingly matches the production studies proposed in the project\u2019s WP4 on investigating the creative industries, which he leads.<\/p>\n

Lynge Stegger Gemz\u00f8e is a postdoc at Aalborg University, Denmark. He recently finished his PhD-thesis on American remakes of Danish television series. In his work, using both textual and production perspectives, he studied the transformations from Forbrydelsen (DR 2007-2012) to The Killing (AMC 2011-2014), from Broen<\/g><\/g> (DR\/SVT 2011-2018) to The Bridge (FX 2013-2014), and from the lesser known Danish original Nikolaj & Julie (DR 2002-2003) to the American NBC-pilot Love is a Four-Letter Word (2015). Gemz\u00f8e has published on similar adaptation processes previously with a piece on Danish movie Br\u00f8dre (2004) and its American remake Brothers (2009). His work in DETECt is primarily related to production studies of Nordic television crime fiction.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
