The first one will be organized by Aalborg University in Aalborg (30 September-2 October 2019) and the second one will be organized by Link Campus University in Rome (June 2021). The conferences will provide all the participants in the DETECt project with the opportunity to discuss the results of their work together with other scholars working in the same or related research areas.<\/p>\n

\nWith European crime narratives as the center of attention, the conference will cover three main DETECt themes: European production cultures, cross-continental distribution practices and European consumption cultures (Discover the Conference<\/a>).

As a major outcome of the whole project, an international conference will be organized in Rome on 21-23 June 2021. The conference will bring all the research teams together to present and discuss the results of the investigation on the images of Europe and Europeans in popular crime narratives.
